The Power of Steam for Cleaning

[vc_row el_class=”margin-top-10″][vc_column][vc_column_text]What if I said you can almost entirely clean your house with just water?  Just water?  How can I clean an oven or bathtub with that?  It won’t sanitize anything!  However, steam is possibly the most effective cleaner we have in our arsenal at KC Cleaners.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”margin-top-30″][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1664″ img_size=”500×200″ alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][box_header title=”How Does Steam Clean Anyways?” bottom_border=”1″][vc_column_text]Plain room temperature water is already called the “universal solvent” because it dissolves more substances than any other liquid.  When you add more heat or energy to the reaction it becomes even stronger.  The power of water’s unique properties combined with more heat allows it to basically dissolve most household dirt and grease.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”margin-top-10″][vc_column][box_header title=”Why Use a Steam Cleaner?” type=”h3″ bottom_border=”1″][vc_column_text]Basically, steam is hot water so it can be used on virtually any surface water can be used on so it’s safe for stone, tile, metal, and plastics.   Other cleaners may react differently with surfaces so cannot be used as universally as steam. Also, heated to over 100C/212F steam sanitizes surfaces and uses the power of heat and pressure to blast away mold, bacteria, and viruses.  No chemicals, scents, or lingering film necessary![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1665″ alignment=”center”][box_header title=”Where Can I Use a Steam Cleaner?” bottom_border=”0″][vc_column_text]Basically anywhere that can stand water and heat. Steam Cleaners use water so it is pH neutral cleaner.   Steam is especially efficient in ovens, bathtubs, and showers as the pressurized steam blasts away oils and grease.  Steam can also be safely used in dishwashers, sinks, toilets, tile, and more![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1666″ alignment=”center”][box_header title=”Where Can’t I Use a Steam Cleaner?” bottom_border=”0″][vc_column_text]Steam is generally not recommended on wood surfaces or surfaces that cannot get wet.  In the past, steam mops shouldn’t be used on vinyl or linoleum floors due to affecting the glue adhesive, but modern steam mops have adjustable heat settings and can be safely used on all kinds of flooring.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_separator color=”turquoise”][vc_column_text]
